Father Anatoly graduated from the Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, New York on June 14, 1964.  He has been a priest for over 36 years.

He married Matushka Irene on July 19, 1964 and was ordained deacon on August 16, 1964.  On August 23 of the same year, he was ordained as priest and was assigned to St. Michael's Cathedral in Paterson, New Jersey, where he served as second priest.

He was transferred in 1965 and was named Rector of The Holy Assumption Church, in Trenton, New Jersey, where he served for 11 years.

After his tenure in Trenton, Father Anatoly transferred to the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, where he taught the subjects of Apologetics and Comparative Theology at the seminary.   He also worked in the St. Job of Pochaev printshop, assisting his brother Hieromonk Ignaty (of blessed memory) with the missionary work of spreading God's word.   Even after being hired by a private printing company, where he went on to become part owner, Father Anatoly for 23 years continued to contribute to the monastery printshop by working evenings (15-20 hours a week) at the monastery, a monumental responsibilty that he diligently performed for many years.

After retiring early from private industry, certified as a master printer by The Master Printers of America,  he along with Matushka Irene moved to Stafford, Virginia on January 15, 1999 to join their oldest son Nicholas along with his youngest son John, his wife and their children, to fullfill a plan conceived long ago: To build a Church.

Father Anatoly is also a frequent contributor to the "Orthodox Russia"  journal, published in Jordanville (for some of his articles, click here).
